I breed Abyssinian and somali cats in Skokloster which is a small community close to both Stockholm and Uppsala.
My aim is to breed healthy and beautiful somali and abyssinian cats with a lovely personality. All cats and kittens are part of our family and live together with us in our house. I also use foster homes so that I can keep the number of cats in our house at a low number. I breed all four basic colors: ruddy, sorrel, blue and fawn.
Kittens are ready to leave our cattery when they are about 14 weeks old, and have been vaccinated twice, are microchipped (ID), and have had a proper health check-up by a veterinarian.
All kittens are registetered in SVERAK and have a pedigree.
I am very invested in the breed and am an active board member of Abyklubben and Aby- Somaliringen.
I have a Phd in ethology and have also taken Pawpeds G1 course, 10 weeks Mars-April 2020 at Pawpeds Academy.
I have always lived with somali cats. My parents had a small somali cattery named Gyllendals when I grew up.
In 2016 I started my own cattery: Whiskers'nPaws.
